Hello,
we have just broken our only 12v double solenoid valve, and would like to find ways to replace it's functionality using items from the 2008 KOP.
Is it possible to do with the 24v solenoid?
- Thanks

shure!. just go to your local radio shack and pick up a 12v relay, create a 24v power source, an easy way is to buy a few AA battery holders. and use the relay to turn the power on and off to your 24v solenoid

So i have ti plug in the outputs of the spike to this relay.
The only difference between the 2 solenoids is the voltage they work with, nothing else?
Yep, the only difference is the voltage.
16 AA batteries should work fine. (1.5V * 16 = 24V)

If they aren't physically damaged the 12v coils on the broken solenoid can be removed (2 screws) and used to replace the 24v coils on the KOP solenoid. They are modular.
