Now that the Vex game is out, would people rather play that game or a custom designed game by the committee members of the Ruckus?

Please also note that the Volunteers page (http://ruckus.penfieldrobotics.com/volunteer) & Team Registration (http://www.ruckus.penfieldrobotics.com/register/) pages are now complete and active!! We need 50+ volunteers, so sign up if you can make it!!
As Alex mentioned, the committee has a game design for Vex or FTC robots to play, but we could do a version of the new Vex game if teams are interested and would be ready by November 1st!

Hey Steve, here is a formal PUBLIC invitation to be our crazy announcer for our 4TH year!!! As long as you dont mind working with Angry Eric again! :)
Pies anyone??
Thanks for the invite. I would not miss the event unless on my death bed. Kim I will need a place to rest my head Friday evening please. As for Eric, what can I say? He has come a long way and makes a great MC. Maybe not a great taste in women but ............. :P

I have never not completed my obligations. It is just that most people have left and the cameras are put away. As for a VEX robot, it depends on whether My robot is ready for the CNRG competition for fire fighting. I could bring as a demo if it is working.

By the way, Steve you were a very very bad boy last year hiding your bag so we couldn't pie you in front of the crowd.
I'm trying to talk Kim into pie you good and early so that you won't get away (and I will have a back up back just in case). Thanks for making her decision easier.:P

What??? I don't have a clue of that which you are talking. Thou thinkest that I, would resort to maketh things unfair or difficult? Shame on thou for such dastardly thoughts. I did take said pie with all of the grace that can be mustered for such an event. I questioneth thou on the house keeping that thou hast, in that thou misplaced said bag. What sayest thou?????

Major Announcement for the Ruckus (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69067)!
Not long until Ruckus. Can't wait to visit all of my American friends. I was wondering if the website was up to date as there is usually a lot more teams and hype.
Ed, what's happening? Did you fall asleep at the key board? Who has been chosen for Pie in the eye/face? Any more good things happening that I should bring money for?

Lastly thank you to Sparx for hosting the event.
I too would like to give an extra special thanks to Jeremy & the guys from Sparx for helping to get the Jeep-Bot back on the field after we blew a radiator early in the day.;)
& thanks to our partners for both of our teams, congrats to the winners.

WHAT?? Its over?? Yikes?!?! what am I going to do with my Wednesday nights now?
Seriously, Huge thank you to all the teams that made it out this year!! We hope you had a great time!! Sorry for a few of the food issues... we will work on it! (or maybe more people will want to preorder MOE's next year!!) From that... Awesome Job by MOE's - everyone loved their food at least! Great job to all the volunteers, this just gets easier and easier every year as we have more and more people that return that know what they are doing!! Giant Thanks to Paul Flemming of 2228 (HFL) who volunteered his own vehicle and set up the entire transport of the field!! so many long nights, but it was all worth it! Thanks to all the wonderful SparX members who helped us with every last minute detail we needed (especially Wendy, Bev & Bob!!), and a giant thanks to my crew at 1511 - they worked so hard to make it all happen that I doubt they realize its over either!!
Im forgetting people I know, but I really havent caught up on sleep since work has been insane since I got back :)
Thanks again for coming... and here's to another GREAT RUCKUS!!
BTW, if you want to check out some cool robots and my creepy green face, you can watch the RNEWs segment (http://rnews.com/story_2004.cfm?story_type=2&rnews_story_type=18&id=66420)!

Well it did hold onto the bar.
233 and 1100 did it more "proper" 2004 style. Grab the bar and chin up. In fact 1100 did it a couple of times (http://www.thebluealliance.net/tbatv/match.php?matchid=8877)at the Boston regional.

So in preparation for this upcoming Ruckus event...who is going to be on the planning committee? I have a few questions I need to run by either the event coordinator or some one in charge of volunteers. Send me a PM if this is you or you can point me in the right direction.
