Hello-

I was just wondering if anyone had information regarding the standings of the FIRST Robotics challenge taking place this week at the Minnesota State Fair.

Thanks!

We are getting some great coverage on the news. I'm not sure about the scores however. I believe the Robettes still have the highest score. 2264 is up there with a max of 59 I think.

Sorry, I was just curious. I operate the arm for team 2169, KingTeC.

Hey, sweet, I remember you. I was the driver for 2264. I had the ducttape harness.

Does anyone have a link to the kare 11 news story on FIRST? They interviewed team members for it. I can't find a copy online. Is it even online?

Anoka 75 vs Rochester 87 (Modified rules because neither team could hurdle/place on rack. We didn't qualify for finals, apparently)

Sorry, I don't know team names/numbers, I'm working from a photo of the standings board.
Don't have data on the finals, but that was top three teams.

My biggest complaint was that we could get to the finals because our robot couldn't place/hurdle. Plenty at Overdrive couldn't and were still successful.

I sincerely hope that next year the game is more accessible to all types of robots. Neither our robot nor Anoka's stood a chance at getting to the finals because of the prerequisite.
