Perhaps someone should start a game on these boards where at a certain date and time, on regular intervals, a picture of a robot is posted, first one to get the team right gets a point.

Someone should make up a quiz like like this taking Team logos and have you pick the right team number.

This would definitely be a fun game to play, except that some logos have the team number in them, and mostly every robot has its team number/logo on it so you'd have to blur them.

There wasn't a Gort! or that one from Westworld! Or Robby! Or Bender! So many classics were missing.. =(

Now, bear in mind that its relitively easy, and that I did some photoshopping (well... hardly, it was in paint...) so that the numbers didn't exist.

And this made me realize that team logos aren't easy to get a hold of.

9/10 on the second quiz. Well, I definitely did a lot better on that one! I thought most of them were pretty easy, though (based on the merit that each of those is probably at least one person's avatar on this site...).

But Hal was simply an auto control for the ship (Discovery)
The ship could be operated with Hal shut down and unplugged.

Using your logic you could say some cars are robots cause they can control their speed and park themselfs.

Oh and I think Hal would be insulted being called a supercomputer.. he was the super of supercomputers. After all the HAL 9000 seris have never made a error... except for that one time... :p

Oh on the FIRSTquiz.... well. I knew some of the teams.... but their numbers.... 1/10 I'm so ashamed!
And I don't even know which I got right for sure!

9/10 on the FIRST quiz. Sad since I am from the Midwest. I did get the 1st one right!:)
