[not a caption] As kind of a publicity stunt for robotics, some of us went around the school setting this (and the caption) to the backgrounds of hundreds of school computers. Some teachers were annoyed, others REALLY pissed, and some thought it was amusing :D
good times...
Just wait till you see the '09 Bot (http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/tech/2008/09/05/pkg.uk.spider.art.itn).

In a world where hurdling robots have mysteriously grown larger than life, with deadly claws and non-COTS components, only one man can stand up to the threat, and take Earth back for the humans.
This......... is the story of that man.

Since the dawn of man, martial artists have sought to master fighting styles that seamlessly blend the attributes of strength, power, quickness, grace, and speed. You've heard them all. The Tiger. The Crane. The Mantis. Now witness.......The Nerd.

Although he was trying with all of his strength to "protect" the others from the "evil" robot, nobody had the heart to tell him that it's just a display, and to not play so many video games.

Here we are on the set of "Jurassic Park 12 - Origins of the Matrix".
After using robots to create a safer park envirionment we discover that AI has advanced to the point that the machines have logically determined that they are smarter than the human race. The machines come to this conclusion after learning who won the presidential election.

Here we see a demonstration of the "Magic of Television" as a miniature model is blown up to larger than life size and taunts people at a family outing. Amazing how a painted ping pong ball can be made to look exactly like an Over Drive game piece.

...due to a drastic error in scaling by the cad crew, team 100's robotic nose hair tweezers - while great for hurdling - were judged to be in need of some miniaturization.
[new entry] After taking on all of team 100, including the hat, and winning, their robot went after Billfred. The result? A new variation of the BIWWTM Rule, known as the BIABAR (Billfred Is Attacked By A Robot) Rule, which covers robot attacks, as well as work. It is immediately invoked.
