Im so exitced to come back i was previously involved in Team 457 but our school decide not to continue it. So, we and the mentors decide to pick up and move to a new team. We recently start a new team in san antonio. Although it would be sad to see my old team no more, im very exicted bout this new team. We are going to the lone star regional cant wait to see you to see all u there.

What happened to the Grease Monkeys 457 ? Is there anything we can do to help them with funding ?

Glad to see you have started a new team, what school will you be with ?
Just another general question out there for Texas Teams, which teams that normally got to LSR are now considering Dallas ?

It wasnt the funding or anything it was the school. The school didnt want to support the team. The school we will be at is Robert E. lee high school + the T-Stem program. We are planning to go to dallas if there enough spots lefted. We are also going to the LSR for sure. See u there.

Let me clarify.
Team 457 may be back next year or sometime. The team founder, Mike Henry retired from teaching and a young teacher who was likely to take over the reigns took a position at a new STEM academy across town. The Grease Monkeys are without a team leader. The school district is concerned as they are building a program from the elementary level on up. Could see the Grease Monkey students at the new San Antonio FTC tournament this year.
Mike Henry and several 457 alumni are mentoring the new team at the Lee High School STEM academy. Brand new team at a new school within a school which will benefit from veteran mentors and 457 alumni.
I can't help myself, No Monkey business going on hear:p
