Is the PIDController class not yet complete? I see
Creates a separate thread which reads the given PIDSource and takes care of the integral calculations, as well as writing the given PIDOutput
but no way to "give" either object in the constructor.
I was going to ask in the thread on the official USFIRST forums, but they're down at the moment.
Can someone post them here? When I go to the forum I get this:
Dear FIRST Community: Recently, many of the online User Forums within the FIRST community were hit by an increase in ‘spam’ to the extent that we have taken our forums offline to protect our students and the entire community. I was going to ask in the thread on the official USFIRST forums, but they're down at the moment.Beta test teams were warned a few weeks ago that the PID-related classes were still incomplete. There have been a couple of updates to WPILib since then, but no teams that I know of have tested PID yet. So it's either still not complete or an oversight.
