Team 1114 has released all training seminars and code developed during the Beta Test process this fall. These files can be found at: http://www.simbotics.org/controls.

On this site you will find an overview of the new system, instructions on getting connected, as well as overviews of C++ and LabVIEW programming for FRC.

Cheers,

The C/C++ info is definitely impressive... but the labview PDF seems rather short compared to the usual coming out of 1114. Is it a work in progress?

We were one of the few Beta Test teams who focused entirely on C++ development. In advance of our Control System Seminar we realized that many of our local teams were very interested in learning LabVIEW. So, a couple of members of our Beta Test team set out to learn LabVIEW in a very short period of time. As such, the LabVIEW sessions were not nearly as exhaustive as our C++ sessions, but hopefully provided a solid basis for the teams who attended the session. Since National Instruments has provided a wealth of LabVIEW resources, we felt no reason to add to our PDFs. In addition, there were many Beta Test teams who tested in LabVIEW, so I would expect them to be posting their resources and tutorials shortly. (If they haven't already)

In that case, there's definitely something to be said for focusing your efforts. Thanks for all the hard work.

The slides and code which are featured in these videos can be found at: http://www.simbotics.org/controls (http://www.simbotics.org/controls). These links will be placed on the site as soon as our website team has a chance to update the page.

We have not included the LabVIEW sessions, as there are variety of better LabVIEW resources provided on the web.

Again, if there are any questions about the content of these presentations and/or slides, please let us know. We're more than willing to help.
