T'was the Night Before Kickoff

this is a poem that we came up with after seeing some of the others like it, we hope you enjoy :p

T'was the night before kickoff and the whole world did wait
To see the simulcast from New Hampshire State
The boys and girls eagerly went to sleep
For Dean Kamon they hoped to soon meet
The shops were all cleaned with meticulous care
The excitement of the 3rd was in the air
As everyone slept in their beds that night
visions of the next 6 weeks soon took flight
When they woke the next morning they jumped from their beds
Heads full of ideas from the Chief Delphi threads
The children all donned their team jerseys with glee
For the new game they would all soon see
To Kickoff they all did go
for the new game they wanted to know
In 6 weeks time the robots would be shipped
With wheels and motors and manipulators they were equipped
Regionals would be there in a flash
And at the starting bell the robots would dash
Next to Atlanta the teams would fly
For the FIRST Championship they would all try
For the moral of the story is one we all know
Gracious Professionalism we all should show
Team 353 wishes you all delight
