Questions about rules?

My name is Kevin and I am from team 1785 - JagWired Robotics. I have 2 questions.

1. Are we allowed to use last years leftover metal from the frame?

2.How can we make an electrical board out of Plexiglas without it breaking?

Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi Kevin

The Robot Rules (section 8) explains what materials you can and cannot use. It's kind of complicated, so please take your time and read it a couple times and see if you can figure out your situation.

Also it's usually better to find some polycarbonate (such as Lexan) to use instead of acrylic (Plexiglass).
