Hello,
i am trying to offer a crab drive for our drive train this year, and was wondering if anybody has any models of it sketched in any 3D software or just good photos, so people with no prior knowledge may understand how it works, and how to produce that...

Thanks.

I'd suggest some of CraigHickman's and Sean Cantrell's (sdcantrell) stuff...and contact them via PM for CAD.

our team is thinking about crab drive but im thinking it just brings too much wait to the bot. with the 120lb limit you got to still have space for the shooting mechanisms or the basket or the conveyer belts or hooks WHATEVER it's not alot this year since the game pieces are so .... big. big in the terms of something that you want to be in your robot at a competetion with a fixed envelope that you can't get outof

Not to be overly critical, but as any of those designs ever been built? I know that I would not offer any CAD models for anything that I have not personally built and tested.

While I am all about sharing designs and have no problem giving CAD work for things that I have built, I find that many times things need a tweek after they have been constructed and would not want anyone building off plans that may not work.
