Truly a work of art! What coefficient of friction do you get with them, on textured gelcoated fiberglass, for example?
Any certain reason you guys decided to go with these wheels over your regular KOP wheels or AM Plactions?
Tis' an interesting choice, do tell the benefits!

Did the pink color fade prematurely?

Its a funny angle because they do not look as wide in the pic. But it could also be the lack of sleep i am getting.

Wow, what an innovative solution! I can guarantee that no other team will have wheels like that :p
At first when I saw the title of this, I was debating whether it meant two hundred and thirty three wheel, or the wheels belonging to FRC 233.
this is true innovation dean would be proud.
does anyone else wish they gave you the option of different sized rover wheels?

NO WAY! We have the same ones! I feel truly proud to be sharing the same wheels with 233 :P

I was wondering who was going to do this first
Did the pink color fade prematurely?
hmmm...I wonder if acetal/delrin would accept a dye bath like some other plastics will. Without changing the characteristics of the wheel anyway outside of the rules of course:D
Given that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery," I am sure that you will be quite flattered to know that many, many teams will be copying your wheel design. :)

Huh-I always thought they had "corners" between the sidewalls and flat "tread", like the old ones. I'm guessing this change is to provide a smaller contact patch, therefore generating less friction?

do they come in other colors?

For the right price, I'm sure AndyMark would do a special run with non-friction dye in the material.
And posted by ducttapedude - 233 is right on the cutting edge of FRC technology this year.

If these wheels are good enough for Pink they are good enough for Exploding Bacon. It is a gamble but Pink is never wrong, we are going with those wheels also.
Thanks for the heads up.

Here is my obligatory sarcastic yet mildly funny comment.

Or you could take a piece of Acetal/Delrin and attempt to dye it in a dye bath (http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa3825/is_199907/ai_n8867845) to see if it takes, if it does you could make you wheels as pink (or any other color) as you want. I am not sure of how legal it would be within the rules, but it would be an interesting showpiece regardless. Maybe slap them on an off season demo bot.
Tch, my wheels are better than that. :D
isn't that just the regular 2009 KOP wheel that you can use or do you get options :yikes:

Welcome to CD, where sarcasm and mis-information abounds...;)
