Redesigned the site from scratch today. I timed myself to see how fast I could do it. v2 was finished in approximately 1 hour and 2 minutes:)

Tell me how it "looks". Links don't go anywhere until content is provided by other team members. I'm just looking for opinions on the design and interface. Thanks for your time:)

It looks nice. However, I like the logo you used on your business cards more than the one on the new site. Just my opinion though.

Looks nice.
Just one comment, you might want to check that your use of the FIRST logo is rules compliant, because it doesn't look like it is to me.

Check out the FIRST Logo guidelines (http://usfirst.org/community/resourcecenter.aspx?id=650) for details on how to use the FIRST logo correctly.

Hey Kitmor. I checked the logo guidelines before designing the site. 100% compliant according to what I have read. Care to enlighten me on what you see wrong with it?

Nice, clean site design. The FRC logo looks fine (legal) too, IMHO.

On page 7 of the comprehensive guidelines (http://usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Community/FRC/FRC_Communications_Resource_Center/Communication_Assets/FIRSTlogoStandards_Comprehensive.pdf) it specifies the protected area around the logo. I could be wrong about this, but from my understanding it looks like you don't have enough quiet space around the logo in the upper right corner. I don't know that for sure, that is my understanding of the rules.

I love the design of the site though.

@adengler, Hey Mr. D!

@jeremiah, I saw your site a while back. Love it. One thing though, I liked your old background (with the pirates). I can't see enough of the corner to make out the word(s).

That's how I read it too. I also like the site design alot.
