Our gaming adapter has had a whole host of problems.
We can finally access the interface to change the ip, but the bridge kicks us off after a few minutes without letting us change the ip. We have a suspicion that the bridge we received might be a substandard product. If this is the case, is it possible to send a fubar part back to FIRST and get another?

Also, does the frequency we are set on have anything to do with our problems?

Are you trying to change the IP through the wireless or while you're tethered to your bridge with an ethernet cable? You shouldn't be getting kicked off if you're hard connected.

It's possible to get kicked off the Bridge if the power feeding it is iffy.
For instance, whenever the barrel connector is loose or makes a poor contact.

We've tried both hardwired and wireless, and different power cords and outlets. It still refuses to work. We have tried different browsers, computers, Ethernet cords, default IP after reseting, installation software, different router settings, and no security.

All in all, everything we've tried points towards the bridge being broken.
I also recently learned that when we first connected the bridge to a power source, there was a spark at the connection. This has helped to convince me that the bridge really is damaged.

UPDATE: We have narrowed the problem down to the wireless part of the gaming adapter. It now functions normally when wired, but is unable to receive wireless input.
