Arcade/Tank Drive Malfunction

This is team 3022, and we are a rookie team. We decided to go with tank drive this year, but after we finished setting up the driver station with the wireless connection, it automatically set up to arcade drive. Also, the arcade drive is faulty in this case. Forward and back move their respected directions, but when we move the first joystick left, it turns clockwise rather than counter clockwise. When we turn it right, it moves backwards. In order to make it turn counterclockwise, we have to turn it back/right.

We want to have it to be tank drive. Can someone help us on how to fix this?

If you are using the default code with the attack 3, move the Z axis of the joystick (Its the roller in the back of the joystick, dead center) all the way down to switch to tank drive.
