That's a #10-32 fitting. You can confirm by testing it with a 10-32 bolt.
I don't remember what the larger side is, but you can measure it.

You can replace it with an alternate fitting such as this 10-32 to 1/4inch connector (http://www.alliedelec.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?SKU=4990010)
or some variation such as this elbow (http://www.alliedelec.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?SKU=4990033)
