Are those CIM's??? Whats a DC940??? Why am I oblivious to these gearboxes???A quick search returns this (http://www.dewalt.com/us/products/tool_detail.asp?productID=15112) drill. It appears that this team has removed the gearboxes from the drill and mated them with the CIM motors.

Gotgreen,
I hope you have provided for some support on the end of the sprocket shaft. Side loads are incredible for this chain driven mechanism. Mechanical loads translate to electrical loads.
