I predict it wins every regional, offseason event, and division of '09.
There. I was the first to say it.
But seriously that's one sweet bot.

Very unique design, Robonauts mid-season release is one of my favorite times of build season. So no plans to collect off the ground? What is your max ball capacity? Are the two fixed wheels in the back of the robot powered? Cool bot, I'm digging the pacman practice bots as well :p

Nice! How do you reload?
Nice! How do you reload?
My guess would be human player loading.

Awesome bot as usual guys!
This will be one beast of a robot to contend with in DC! Look forward to seeing you guys there.

I like the simplicity of this bot, you guys usually built bots with a high level of complexity (turreted crab driven elevating arms...). So I like the change of direction, I think this will be a successful bot for you. Interested to see how the human loading works out for you.
HELLOOoo from the North East :D
Well it's looks great but would we expect from 118. What a super job very nice des., also great vid, May we at TJ2 wish you the best and we will see ya in GA.:yikes: ...... LOOKS LIKE A GREAT ONE AGAIN .......:ahh: Also say hello to Brandon and John from MOE:p

i like it it is a very formidable robot, you did a nice job, it kind of reminds me of ours being the same simplicity of design idea.

I think the time of Justin's post shows how the robonauts actually build their robot, none of them sleep... ever.
Seriously, as always, impressive bot. It looks simpler than the past couple have been. Best of luck you guys.

i'll be first

Man. I was gonna say that. But I only count 4 wheels.
The spinning disk in the loader is a cool idea. what's the max distance that the turret can shoot?

Great robot, looks like it has lots of clever little features. The record is probably my favorite. :) Interesting drivetrain, too. It looks like one FP motor driving each front wheel, steered by a globe? Are the rear wheels then each powered by a CIM?
I can't wait to see how it does in competition, it will answer the human-loading/harvesting question. Good luck!

Stupid-awesome robot!!!
I will definitely watch whatever regional you're at via webcast, I can't miss this robot in action.
A thousand kudos, and good luck this season!
wow, i hope ours turns out like that.
I miss Muse, but love the throwback to 2002. ;)
Good Luck in DC, see you fellas at LSR.

Sick bot. Sick vid.
Good to see another fast offloading dumper showing the skeptics how its done.
Best of luck in 09.
Nice robot. That is an interesting idea of a system to unload.

Nice bot!
My favorite thing has to be that you have like 4 or 5 Kit Bots to practice scoring on.
Wow guys, looks like another great bot. And like Barry I counted 4 wheels on the drive as well.
Whats the max number of balls your bot can hold?
First the awesome turret shooter in 08, now another awsome turret dumper. See you guys at nationals.
I believe his thing was on 6 inches not six wheels.
and yes this is a similar drive train we are using except we went to all wheels how does it handle? I mean is it quick to respond. Good luck

I like how you guys have gone with a simpler design this year.
I noticed that in some of your pictures you have a camera mounted on your dumper, but in most of the video, you don't have it.
Are you using the camera?
Oh and the packman theme is really awesome! :D

And like Barry I counted 4 wheels on the drive as well.
Man. I was gonna say that. But I only count 4 wheels.
I said 6" wheels, as in 6 inch diameter wheels not six wheels total.....

Yeah... looks like someone's soundtrack was inspired by the Kiwi video of yesteryear! HA!
Good lookin' bot.
Ours is a bit similar.
Can you load from the floor at all?
this robot looks familiar.... wait a minute:eek:
I said 6" wheels, as in 6 inch diameter wheels not six wheels total.....
Sorry dear, I was probably reading through the thread a bit too quick.
On another note, I forgot to mention how much I liked the Pacman touch to the video. :P
