looks intesesting. I've seen the tubing used with a roller on several robots, how do you mount the tubing in the roller?

well we drill a hole in the pvc and use puematic wiring and stuck the puematic wire in the drill hole.
how is the eight wheel drive working for you?

Drill the hole a tiny bit bigger than the diameter of the pneumatic tubing, then load up the holes with hot glue. Push the pneumatic tubing into the hols, and the extra space will allow the hot glue to harden and keep the tubing where it is. It works pretty well.
Just pushing the tube into tight holes will not work, you need some glue to keep them in place.

Interesting design. If that is 1/8" walled aluminum and this is olny half the robot, how heavy are you guys right now?

Horray for the kit chassis!
If weight savings is needed, that #35 chain could be changed into #25 chain pretty easily.

That wieghs around 65 lbs. and the 8 wheel design is working good for use we delvoping a clutch system to help with traction.
