**FIRST EMAIL**/New Software Tool: FMS Light

Greetings Teams:

A new software tool is available for your use: FMS Light. This software can be used to simulate matches as well as administer pre-season and post-season events. The User's Guide and link to download the program are posted on the 2009 FRC Control System website (http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc/content.aspx?id=10934 (http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc/content.aspx?id=10934)) under the heading "FMS Light."

After we updated to the Driver's Station image 2009-02-10a3, the switches we have going into the digital input ports do not seem to be reading in the software anymore. Is there a DETAILED description of the changes made in the software that might explain why they are no longer working?

It seems that ever software "upgrades" has created more problems then it has solved.

They are not being read in autonomous or not being read at all?

No input data on the DS is being sent to the robot during Autonomous/Enable after the latest DS update.

We are using the switches for our Autonomous modes. To set up which autonomous mode to use and strategy. Program does not seem to be reading them anymore.

Yep, you will have to read them during Autonomous/Disabled and store the values for use during the Autonomous/Enabled period.
