We’re still working to get a grip on the static discharge issue. The simplest solution appears to be to wet the edges of the carpet to allow the robots to discharge static before they impact the metal sides of the field. Unfortunately, wetting the carpet may cause an issue for those of you who have made arrangements with your Regional Director to pick up the carpet and flooring after a Regional event. Be advised, the carpet may be damp.

Looks like those teams who are picking up carpets just need to bring some Sham-Wow pads with them!!! :p
Easy fix!! :D
(I'm actually kinda serious, & if someone wants to post that on the comments of Bill's blog, feel free to (and maybe say you heard it from me... lol))

It's been a full week since the last update. I think the GDC is busy stuffing the NASA ballot box with votes for "Lavery" (http://www.comcast.net/articles/entertainment/20090310/NASA.Colbert/) for the Space Station.
