On April 2, 2009, Rutgers University broke the Guinness World Record for Largest Gathering of people dressed as Waldo. A total of 1,052 Waldos showed, nearly doubling the previous record.
All participants were asked to bring a children's book to donate and a total of 3,186 books ended up being donated to the public schools in the city of New Brunwick, NJ.
That's even more Waldo's than I'm used to seeing at a FIRST competition that Team 1547 (http://www.thebluealliance.net/tbatv/team.php?team=1547) shows up to!! :ahh::ahh::ahh:
