TBA = The Blue Alliance - http://thebluealliance.net
or .. it could simply be to be announced

I think TRA might be The Red Alliance - http://theredalliance.net

Ryan is right, but the TBA could also mean The Best Around, which, I must say, it is pretty much the best thing to happen to FIRST in a while in my opinion.

Sorry for the off topic post.

I don't know what you're asking. Who are "they" and where are you seeing this "marking teams off"?

It's a link to your team stats at The Blue Alliance website.

I think he's referring to the TBA flags next to each team number on the user information in each post.

Those are links to that team's page on The Blue Alliance. I haven't seen any The Red Alliance flags.

Its a public scouting website, not a group. Use it to scout and whatnot.

Every team is on TBA. Each team has its own stats page. Very handy for finding out records and pictures. Also good for looking at match videos to see how they play. When you enter a team number here on CD, a TBA link is automagically generated for that number leading to that team.

so what is this "The Red Alliance" it is going to serve the same purpose as "The Blue Alliance" or what is going to do if not. If any one knows that is, cause all I'm getting is coming soon on that website.

There's been some recent discussion on the topic; I believe that it's now working with TBA. Not sure in what capacity.

I heard a rumor when the website was first found that it was going to be used for FTC stats.

I don't know how true that is, but it would be nice for FTC teams to have a global scouting system like FRC does. Also, it would be a great way to archive past performance of teams and monitor growth.

Think of TRA as a Facebook page for teams/robots, at least that's what I think it is. Teams will be able to login and manage the page for their team.
