The 2009 schedule of events is set. If we have all 42 slots taken then each team will get approx. 10 qualification matches. Here is what the schedule looks like:

1pm - 4pm Team Registration and set-up
1:30pm - 3:30 pm Practice Matches
3:30pm -3:45 pm Drivers Meeting
3:45pm - 4pm Opening Comments
4pm - 7pm Qualification Matches
7pm - 8pm Mentor Driver matches
8pm Pits Close
8pm - 10pm Team Social (PIG Roast)

27-Jun-09
8am - 8:25am Pits Open
8:30am - 8:55am Opening Ceremony
9am-12pm Qualification Matches
12pm -1pm LUNCH BREAK
1pm - 3:20pm Qualification Matches End
3:20pm Final Alliance Selection
3:30pm Break
4pm Elimination Matches Begin
6:10pm Awards Ceremony
6:40pm Event Ends

Does that mean 4 team alliances or 3 team alliances?

That means that each alliance will pick three teams to join their alliance and the teams can be switched out as they like.

Are we allowed to have a mixture of robots and human players, or is each human player only allowed to play if their robot is playing? For example, Team X's human player can be in the match, even though their robot isn't being used in that match?

Lots of qualification matches, pig roast, mentor rounds...I can't wait. Team 1718 is excited and ready to play again! Only 8 wks to go!

GREAT QUESTION: You are not allowed to mix robots and human players.

Can't beat it for only between $150-$200.
