Greetings everyone!

The South Florida FIRST Robotics community is pleased to announce that Mission Mayhem 2009 will be hosted by Nova Southeastern University in the beautiful new Don Taft University Center (http://www.nova.edu/overview/universitycenter.html) located on their Davie, FL campus. Additionally, teams are invited to join their robots for a sleep over in the Center. We are very excited to have Nova Southeastern University as a major sponsor of this year’s event.

An informational packet will be out in the next couple of weeks detailing the activities and logistics including registration information, directions to the campus, food options, and load-in, parking, and sleep over details. We hope the sleep over will serve as an incentive for teams to join us for the Friday evening festivities without the associated overnight costs.

What: Mission Mayhem 2009
When: Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 12
Where: Don Taft University Center on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL
Cost: $250 if funds received on or before Friday, July 31, $300 after, if you need an invoice

This year's Mission Mayhem promises to be the best one yet. Having by far the best arena, and with a lot of new activities planned, the event will be a blast.

Remember guys there is a sleep over so you can stay with the robots all night long if you want. I know activities for the night are being planned  I encourage everyone to go check out the website, you'll find pictures of the new arena and all the information.

If your team is thinking of making the trip, register as soon as possible. I hope to see many old and new friends from all teams at the event. Can't wait. :D
