Once A wins one (pity is a strong motivator), I have a suggestion for a rule change:
Your team is determined by the first letter of your username.
If your username starts with the letter A C E G I K M O Q S U V W (or numbers) you belong to Team A
If your username starts with the letter B D F H J L N P R T X Y Z (or symbols) you belong to Team B

Instead, if your TEAM NUMBER ends with an even number (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) you are on team A, and with an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) Team B.

This might break up existing cooperative alliances and forge new ones. Discussion?
