No, it isn't. You'd think that both methods would be somewhat random, perhaps using the second letter of your user name even more so, but for some reason it's terribly lopsided.

I would say that it's because it's more likely that people have vowels as the second letter of their user name and all of the vowels (except for sometimes y) are on Team A.

That's probably not the only reason but probably contributory.

Most people (I think) view at 15 posts per page. So posts 16, 31, 46, ... are the tops of the page. So a post that divides evenly by 15 with a remainder of 1 is a "top of the page" post.

Following the formula I was given:

So, from what I've worked:
3856 (Chief Pride's post number) % 16 = 0

Which would mean Chief Pride's post is at the bottom of the page.

Therefore, we are now at 890.

However, I've been known to be wrong before...
