Windriver installation error -88,309

Hi,
I have tried to install WindRiver multiple times with several different configurations, but I always get the same error. The same CD installed fine on two other laptops, but not my Asus 1000HE Netbook. Now, I don't know if it's because of some property of the netbook or what, but I've attached a screenshot of the error message.

The error message seems quite clear to me. It looks like the installer is complaining that the computer's clock is set to an unreasonable date. A brief web search on the error number says that it happens when the installer detects system files having a date later than the "current" date.
