As always, the deadline is sorta kinda theoretically possibly Saturday at midnight Eastern.
Go!
I do believe if a robot can fall through a concrete floor that is reinforced with re-bar, you may be a little over weight :D

1024's robot washed up after their experiment with a water game. Note: Do not build a pool out of cement blocks.
[npoe]Wow, did I really work the water game theory into it?
Remember kids, cement block can be destroyed, but robots will come back to haunt you.

Grandma's new walker is much more powerful than her old walker (the one with the flames)

1024 figured that if their bot could smash through a concrete wall then a few bots playing defense wouldn't be anything to worry about. Battlebots, cringe in fear

Team 1024 will not be participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition for the next three years. Instead, they will be spending all their money toward repairs for their school's destroyed walls.
Moral of the story: always check your robot's autonomous code before running it.

Team 1024 tests out the terrain for the 2009 FRC game. Apparently they didn't get the memo that the moon is frictionless and slick.

It was only supposed to blow up a watermelon, I swear.
I learned all kinds of things on the ride to Houston this past weekend. You'll just have to trust me on that. :)

When the prototype Dalek, number 1024, broke into our fortress screaming "EXTERMINATE", we knew that the Daleks had evolved ... and we were doomed.
1024 found itself unable to take out a wall, so it called in help. This picture was taken an Oink Oink BOOM! or two later.
Dave, Dave, are you there? I'm coming Dave!

When the judges decided to give another team the national Rockwell Automation Innovation In Control Award, 1024's robot broke in and "convinced" the judges otherwise.

The Kil-a-bytes had to scrap this robot prototype after they decided that its color scheme wasn't obnoxious enough.

What robots dream about while sleeping in their shipping crates.
that's what you get for running your robot on diesel, a large explosion and a big mess to clean up afterword...

Kil-a-bytes thought about calling their robot Kill-a-Wall. Good thing there's a broom to sweep up the mess it created.

NEW SUBMISSION
2009: Lunacy

Kil-A-Bytes new name: Demolition Experts
So THIS is what happens when we trust the programmers with the robot...
In an attempt to prevent constant G22 infractions, Overdrive was origionally designed to feature one-way concrete gates at each line. Unfortunately, this incident, believed to be the result of a robot being unable to see a clipboard with the words "Turn Left" on it through the concrete, made the GDC realize that the cleanup associated with this plan was too much trouble.

Ever since 1024's 2008 bot made it on to Einstein, he hasn't come off his pedestal. The other Kill-A-Byte robots are getting mad...
Al Skierkiewicz
24-08-2009, 07:38
Let's see WALL-E do that!
[new]
Of course the robot was mad when he learned that this year's game wasn't a water game, but we didn't know that he'd be this mad. Sigh, let's blame it on the programmers, shall we?

[obviously not an entry]
Sorry folks, but this weekend has not been kind to me. (Whoever said that home ownership is the American Dream obviously never had to pack all the associated stuff to move into that home.)
Tomorrow, promise. :)
[New Entry] The 2010 IRI Charity Fundraiser is: Tear Down the Walls! Drop money into the bucket of the mentor you would most like to see tear down a wall, and into the bucket of the method you would most like to see used. Methods include sledgehammer, dynamite, chisel, karate, and robot.
