I am not quite feeling youtube and how the accounts are managed now. I mean, I prefer youtube when it was the people and the artists controlling the boards. Now, companies like veto are doing it and you could not see a video that has no google advertisement on it. I know that is how the internet and the business works but it can get annoying for casual users.

And now with the accounts getting tied up with google, it became all too complicated.

This has almost nothing to do with adding team youtube accounts, but I had an idea. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a type of youtube tailored for robotics teams. Like, a website where teams can post and search for videos posted by other teams.

If anyone wants to take on this challenge, feel free! I'd do it, but I don't know website programming! :D

Thanks for the idea, but I just tried uploading a video that was muted again and it still didn't work. It's "Good times bad times" by Led Zepplin. I don't get how other teams "seem" to have an easy time with Youtube.

It depends on the music. Depending on the rights holder they may have chosen to just monetize videos using their music, or to mute the audio.

This video of ours uses copyrighted music (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eS_2hqNE_i8). You can see in the bottom of the description it says "Helix by Justice." This means they allow use of their music and have enabled ads on our video to make money from it.
