For anyone in the Detroit area:
Detroit's first hackerspace is having their grand opening on Saturday, Oct 3rd.
A hackerspace is a community-based workshop that caters to hackers, makers, inventors and tinkerers of all stripes.
Some of our current members are long time FIRST mentors, and we plan to sponsor a team as well as make our facilities available to other local teams.
Everyone is welcome to the open house from 12-5 and those 18 and over are welcome to the party from 7-11.
