I have compiled all of the regionals on google maps. At first it started to be a project for me to see where the nearest one is anywhere in the world to people asking and I thought that I would share it with anyone who would like it. Hope that someone else out there can find a use for it as well.

These are taken off of the website and accurate as of the time of posting. Please check the FIRST site before making any decision.

Where are the regionals marked? It just seems to be a map of North America.

Unless the red dots are the regionals, but they are in places where some regionals are and in other spots where there are no regionals.

It works if you copy and past the blue text.

I'm with Brendan. The markings didn't transfer to the linked map. I've had that once or twice, but don't know how to fix it.

Edit: followed rtfgnow's suggestion, and it worked.

It should work like a link now...dunno what happened the first time.

Anthony,

Very useful, thanks for compiling it. Just one correction for you...the Kansas City Regional is labled "Hale Arena." Hale Arena is the venue, the regional name is the Greater Kansas City Regional.

Fixed thanks for that correction.

Can you color code for the different weeks?

Thanks

at this point I am unaware of how to do that, I will look into it and take any suggestions from anyone.

I believe if you select the point you want to change when editing the map, then click the icon in the top right of the edit box it allows you to change the icon to something else including other colors of the same "pin"

Would there be any way to overlay this with a map that also showed team density worldwide?

That would be really interesting.
