Student in the robot: You mean soldering, crimping, bolting, inserting, welding, gluing, or some combination of the above?
Mentor: Students these days... think they know more than their elders...

A young McGyver builds a complete robot with only a few hand tools, wire nuts, and a roll of electrical tape.

We don't need safety glasses - we covered the dangerous parts of our robot in foam.

Student: See, if we just tweak this support connection here, the whole thing will collapse down into itself, and we'll be able to go through the tunnel.

Mentor thinks: I doubt it, but have fun trying.
