Hello all, this is my first thread as a new member here.

I would like to know if it would be possible to acquire the CAD for the FRC playing field for this year's game (Breakaway). Is it possible? If so, where would I be able to find it?

Welcome to Chief Delphi!

James Tonthat has so kindly offered to send a field model he made. See http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showpost.php?p=897251&postcount=9

It is a Solidworks model, but it should also import into (most) other CAD platforms.

This is a great model thank you - from www.3DContentCentral.com you can download it in SolidWorks 2009 and SolidWorks 2008 format.

You can also download it in ProE and AutoCAD and many others.

Dont recreate models if they already exist. Marie

PTC is currently working with FIRST to get a copy of their model in Pro/ENGINEER format. As soon as it is ready, it will be posted to our download site and announced here.

Hi Skot

Craig says hi - wondering when you are going up to the Hideout?

I love robots! Marie

Marie, Hi. That is funny :) We'd be at the Hideout now if the temperature would go over 60 and our wives let us out of the house. Although, my bike has been known to take many unauthorized trips in the past...

what is the error you are receiving?

It's not so much as an error code received, but when I open the assembly file, it takes about 2 hours to convert to a Solidworks file, then nothing shows up once its converted
