Gearbox Output Shaft Defect

Hi, I am from team 2974; we are a second year team.

In assembling our gearboxes, we stumbled across an issue pertaining to the gear shafts. One of the shafts had an input 1mm too wide in diameter but had a proper output size. On the other hand, the other shaft had the proper input diameter but the output diameter was off by approximately .05 mm.

If anyone else encounters this error, let us know. We would like the community to be aware that faulty parts are afoot!

Thanks for the reminder that teams who plan to use the kit transmission should at least test assemble it soon, so any problems can be fixed right away. AndyMark (http://andymark.biz/) is very good about sending replacement parts right away, but you have to let them know you have a problem.
