Pros/Cons of Mecanum Drive?

Some major pros/cons that my team should keep in mind?

mecanum drive is pretty useful. You can move in any direction while still retaining your direction and has more traction than normal omni-wheels. It is easy to program and looks amazing if used. However, mecanum wheels are incredibly expensive.

Otherwise, it is a great method of movement!
