Ball Return Time

The rules state that the balls must be returned in the time calculated by a formula. However, at a certain point the formula will return a zero or negative time. If this occurs, should we stop returning the balls or is there an alternative procedure to follow?

We've been discussing this for a bit now. Your best bet is to just keep returning them to the field.

I think the GDC has been asked about whether the algorithm timer stops when the match timer reaches zero, but they have yet to respond.
