Is there a good reason to split it off of the regular electrical forum? I'd hesitate to do so, because as Joe said, folks won't see posts about CAN on the front page unless they configure it as such. Since this thread is likely to fall off the main page, it is likely that people won't know to do so.

CAN discussions were showing up all over anyway. This is an attempt to get everything in one place. I will add a post in electrical to point there and anyone can remind other forums to post there as well. I think all will find it in a day or two.
