Wow, that is pretty good.
If you do't mind, could you explain how your pneumatics are setup? It seems like they are your release mechanism, cocking mechanism, and your variable distance mechanism.
Good Work.

That's really good. Just one question, how many kicks can you get off in a row or how much air does one kick use.
Would you mind explaining your pluming? What do the 2 small cylinders at the bottom do? Are they limits or latches?
4 actuators huh ??? great kicker!

Very nice! How are you planning on possessing the balls before you kick them? Or do you just line up on a ball and then kick?
Good luck!
Best regards,
Steve

Sorry, been a bit busy lately so just getting time to answer questions.
There are two 1.5"D x 8"S cylinders and two 3/4"D x 1"S cylinders. We went for less of an "design for optimal" plan this year and more of a "what do we have a bunch of in the pneumatics parts tub" plan this year. Money is always a concern...
The large cylinder on the top stretches a black tarp strap a variable amount depending on the pressure used which gives us more or less kick. The large cylinder in the middle cocks the arm and once locked reverses pressure to add to the kick. The two small cylinders at the bottom trigger the release.
The number of kicks varies depending on the pressure we use for a particular distance.
Ball possession in front of the kicker is still in development... ;)
