sensors quantity limit

Hey, I have a question that I hope any of you can help me with:
Is there a quantity limit for encoders on the robot (limited number of encoders that one is allowed to use on the robot)?
Or is there ANY quantity limit for any type of sensor?

There are some practical limitations to how many the cRIO can handle.
