View Full Version : Limiting the compressor
This is what we're trying to do here:
Turning off the compressor once it reaches a certain psi. Unfortunately, we have no clue how to accomplish this. We're using the KoP compressor, any assistance would be appreciated.
You must use the signal from the NASON pressure switch included in your kit of parts. You hook this up to a digital input on the DSC, and use the tools included in WPILib to make it work.

Let's step back for a second. The nason pressure switch will shut off at 125 PSI, and turn back on at something lower than that (80 I think?). This will serve to keep enough pressure in the system that your regulator will never slip below 60 psi.
Is that what you're talking about, or are you trying to set the pressure in a different part of your system? That will require a pressure gage and a bit of programming, or another regulator.

You need to attach a compressor switch. It is programmed right into the compressor VI.
