Hey, I am sure there are a hundred threads on this issue, but every one I have visited has been unable to help me solve this problem. I am using LabVIEW, and started with a new default FRC cRIO Robot Project, and just added a few things like servos and solenoids. How do I get the live feed to appear on the classmate?
I have tested the Servo Camera example in LabVIEW, and everything worked perfectly. I also did the 2010 Driver station update(the one that puts the gyro information on the dashboard) and have even tried making a new dashboard application and using it in place of the stock one, but all to no avail.
Anybody have any clue as to what's going on? Is there anything I have to add to the code for it to work?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you do the labview update, re-image the cRIO with v19, configure the camera with FRC/FRC, and uninstall & reinstall the driver station update?

Currently Downloading FRCLabVIEWUpdate2.0for2010.zip
That will update LabVIEW and give us the v19 image?

Awesome! I will post the results ASAP
Yes, please tell us if that works. We (Team 2192) are having the same problem. As you said, everything works fine in the test camera feed project, but when the actual robot code is running, and the Driver Station and PC Dashboard are enabled, we receive the message "Timeout in Camera Communication".
Thanks!

The "timeout in camera communication" can only mean one thing: that you haven't installed updates properly. Do you see a compass on your dashboard?

Nope. What's that mean?
If you haven't donwload the DSUpdate1. Download it. Install it. Then Uninstall it. Then reinstall it. The installer has problems. Then click local dashboard on the bottom portion and you should see the new dashboard.

Run the Driver Station update again, this time telling it to uninstall the files. Then run it a final time to reinstall everything. You should then have the updated Dashboard with the working video display and gyro heading indicator.

Team 3332 here, we're experiencing the exact same issue.
Anyone know where can I find the download for the DSupdate1 ?

We're having similar issues with the camera feed. We attended a Labview workshop this past Saturday and did all the steps outlined above and the driver station was working fine including the camera feed. When we turned the driver station on yesterday and nothing. Very aggravating.

We had the same problem, but as others have said the installers wonky. Uninstall DSupdate1 if you have it and reinstall it again.
Here's the link for the DSupdate1, http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/lang/en/id/1535

I know that my mentor Todd can't stress enough, Install the updates. I know once we had those, the camera basically became plug and play.
Great! We're trying it out now and will get back to you.

We just FINALLY installed the dashboard update, however we are getting a "watchdog not fed" error. What happens now.

...we are getting a "watchdog not fed" error.
Is it just a single watchdog message? That's not a problem; it's a known and expected event. Is it sporadic messages when you're not on the Operation tab of the Driver Station? That too is known and does not indicate a real problem.
If you're getting continuous watchdog errors, that points to a problem with your program.
