Classmate battery not working?

Seconds after we unplug our Classmate PC it dies. Also, in the power options in the control panel it doesn't even recognize that there's a battery at all. Has anyone else had this problem? We assume we need to replace the battery, but perhaps it's some other issue?

I'd recommend going to the 2go pc helpdesk (http://ctl.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=5) to see about the problem. You absolutely need to get it fixed, since from what I've heard there will be no wall outlets this year at the alliance stations
