Classmate System Error

Alright, Quick question;

This morning when we started up our Classmate PC we recieved this error;

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

Before we reformat the Classmate, has anyone else come across this error, or have a solution to it?
