Labview Project Template Files Not Opening

I have Labview 8.6 and installed the latest update. However, since my original installation (mid-January), I have not been able to open Labview project template files. I am still able to write and save programs, but all FRC specific VI's seem to be missing certain dll files and thus not opening properly. I would appreciate some help on this issue.

Did you install LabVIEW 8.6 from the DVDs that came in the Kit of Parts or some other way?

I installed from the DVDs sent from FRC. I also uninstalled and reinstalled several times, but there is no change.

Was LabVIEW already on the machine you're using, like an earlier version of LabVIEW?

Do you know what the original installation listed as a version under Help -> About FIRST Robotics Competition Software...

I'd try searching the NI FIRST Forums to see if they talk about similar installation issues there.

This is not the Classmate you're talking about I assume.
