What exactly is that gripper locking onto the bar? Does it use a motor?

There is a simple latch buried in the top gripper.
The deployment of the gripper is not shown.
It is normally folded down on top of the robot.

Looks good. It seems pretty fast to me, a bit under 10 seconds. Nice work. :)
