That's basically our robot except we chose not to hang.
Therefore, I like it. A lot.
CIM powered kicker? Seems like wayyyy overkill. We found that a Window motor was up to the task and, when geared properly, could recoil in just under two seconds.
Big fan of Jester Drive.
I see no camera. Is there one?

How many pounds of force are you pulling back with a single denso? I've been trying to get some good results but to no avail.
The Jester looks great as usual. How often do you plan on blocking during a match?

Joe, move that dang sign, I wanna see the hanger ;)
Great job guys.

I don't exactly know, I mainly work on the Drivetrain, and didn't do so much with the kicker. We had 1 stage of a Toughbox + some chain reduction, around 3:1 - 4:1 in the Toughbox with around 1:2 in the chain.

I agree! I missed the good old Jester Drive. I can't wait to see it in action again this year. :)
Great looking robot! Can't wait to see it in action. Love those numbers on your bumpers!

I love the numbers too, but I'm not sure that they meet the 3/4" stroke requirement of <R15>
<R15> Teams shall display their team number on the BUMPERS in four
locations at approximately 90-degree intervals around the perimeter of the ROBOT. The numerals must be at least 4 inches high, at least in ¾-inch stroke width and in a contrasting color from its background. Team Numbers must be clearly visible from a distance of not less than 100 feet, so that judges, referees, and announcers can easily identify competing ROBOTS.
Emphisis mine.

That was a typo, we actually are running a Fischer-Price into a Banebots gearbox to pull back our kicker.

The numbers are definitely at least 3/4" wide. I think it looks like it even from the picture.
Thanks for the compliments everyone. Looking forward to competing in San Diego and Philadelphia.
