View Full Version : controling more than one air cylinder with a single valve
Is it legal to use two air cylinders controled by one Festo valve? In other words, we would "T" the air line after ONE Festo valve to energize and then retract TWO air cylinders. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely legal. This works well if they're smaller cylinders. If they are large, you may encounter flow issues - i.e. your pistons will move slowly.
We use this sytem to shift our trannies simultaneously.
Thank you very much. You guys, ALL of you out there, are absolutely GREAT!!
