MPLAB was used as a programming environment for FIRST for many years. A search of these forums will yield many discussions and code fragments on the subject.

Also, Kevin Watson kept an excellent code repository here (http://kevin.org/frc/).

Since MPLAB is no longer used in FIRST, you will not find much recent info here.

I assume you are searching in support of VEX. If so, you may want to search here (http://www.vexforum.com/) as well.

As [Mike Betts] said, you might be disappointed by the level of support for PIC devices you find on these forums in current times.

I'd try posting in Microchip's forums (http://www.microchip.com/forums/) instead.
