Mentor: "We tested my thoughts in stages, built our bot for ages, tightened our chassis' chain... We weren't that good for Curie, but we could have made it surely, If I only had a brain."

We werent on Curie, but it was the easiest name to rhyme with :p

The last thing the robot heard was "I would like a little off the top."

Guy in brown shirt: "Would someone remind me who came up with this stupid idea of a mechanical moose costume?"

Mentor: I'm proud of you, team 1676. We built a sweet robot that runs entirely on pneumatics!
Student 1: But how do we power it? I don't see a compressor!
Mentor: Well, I, um...
Student 2: You know what this means. You better start blowing into those tubes. Pronto.
Mentor: Aw, crud. *squats down and starts blowing*
Student 2: Hey, this guy's doing a good job. We should make him part of the robot.
Student 1: But won't that push us over the weight limit?
Student 2: We can always put speed holes in him.
Mentor: What the...?!

After transplanting a mentor's body onto the robot, 1676 finally had success with Autonomous mode - until Thursday's inspection: The mentor was too old to compete, his value exceeded the $3500 BOM limit, and there was a weight issue...:rolleyes:
